Hollandbury House shortlisted in Housing Design Awards
Hollandbury House has been shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards 2024.
The residential development forms a key part of the Brentford Project regeneration, stitching together the natural river corridor and Brentford High Street through a network of walkable routes and amenities for the benefit of the wider community.
As a landmark within this masterplan, Hollandbury House was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of the warehouse architecture that characterises this stretch of water, where the River Thames meets the River Brent.
The 66 homes take advantage of plentiful natural light and views, with abundant outside amenities provided in the form of generously sized balconies, which take inspiration from the adjacent bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Residents can take advantage of the waterfront location and the rooftop gardens that provide stunning views of Kew Gardens and the River Brent.
Judging has commenced and winners will be announced at an event in the autumn.
