Tatton Services breaks ground

We’re delighted to see work has officially begun on Tatton Services.

Designed for the Westmorland Family, the new generation of motorway services will transform the site into a landscape-led destination centred around a new Farmshop, Kitchen, and Fuel Barn, rooted in the character of the Cheshire countryside.

Rather than treating the landscape as a backdrop, the masterplan brings architecture and nature together to reconnect the site with its agricultural heritage while responding to its unique position within the regional road network.

There is a real emphasis throughout the project on making things well; creating buildings that feel robust, welcoming and rooted in their landscape, alongside planting and outdoor spaces that will establish and mature over time. Sustainability is an important part of that thinking too, influencing how the buildings are made, how the landscape performs and how the place will operate in the years ahead.

The project will also deliver significant economic benefits for the local area, filling an important gap in the regional services network while creating a distinctive new gateway to Cheshire.

We can’t wait for the vision to take shape over the coming months.
