Robert King
Rob has a keen interest in the future of UK housing and exploring different models for high density living. He’s also interested in the methods by which innovative materials and modularisation can be used to create buildings that are crafted and sustainable, whilst still remaining responsive and appropriate to their immediate context.
As a Director in our Birmingham office, Rob has worked on some of our more high-profile schemes, including London City Island, Tower Hamlets, and the Mercian. Recently, Rob has been working on Abbotts Lane, a high-density urban masterplan in the centre of Coventry, Tatton Services, which focuses on locality, sustainability and landscape, and Battersea Park Road, a series of purpose-built, affordable, student accommodations with ground floor community and creative spaces.
Rob is one of our in-house Mental Health First Aiders, encouraging positivity and wellbeing in the workplace and offering advice and signposting to our colleagues.
He studied at the University of Westminster and qualified as an Architect in 2012.
