BIM Coordinator
About the role
The post of a BIM Coordinator is vital to the success of the company in supporting Project leads on BIM Coordination, providing training to project teams, developing and implementing workflows for the successful delivery of coordinated BIM models, datasets, reports and project BIM documents, which promote the company's design aesthetic, based on five guiding principles that we apply to all of our projects called CLEAN.
The role will require someone who is commercially aware and can support Project Leads and Design Teams to achieve contractual obligations as well as establish project goals, processes and workflows.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a BIM Coordinator within the UK commercial sector
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction
- Cloud/BIM 360
- Experience managing federated models within CDE environments such as BIM 360, ProjectWise or Asite
- Experience in BIM Coordination and UK BIM Framework (ISO 19650, BS1192, BS8536, etc.)
- Experience with COBie, IFC, Classifications, and BIM Interoperability Tools for Revit
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Desirable: Dynamo or Grasshopper for automation workflows, Solibri, Revizto, Power Bl, NBS Chorus, and BSI/BRE/RICS qualifications
