Peter Mueller

Peter is fascinated by the collaborative and iterative nature of the design process where excellence is achieved by creatively combining technology, functionality, and aesthetics. He has a keen interest in building materials and façade design from his glass manufacturing background. This is combined with an appreciation for low impact and low-tech construction methods which Peter acquired from traditional building techniques while working as a student in Nepal.

Since joining us, Peter worked on a range of residential projects including the Athletes Village project and the award-winning St Andrews in Bromley-by-Bow. He has gained a wide range of experience, specifically focusing on delivery of the external building envelope of the Wardian project, the elegant, biophilic-inspired towers at Canary Wharf.

Peter trained at the Bauhaus School of Architecture in Weimar, Germany, before transferring to the UK and working on a range of projects including retail and office lead urban regeneration, education, high end residential and social housing. He has also completed an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering at the Bartlett School of Architecture and strives to incorporate and promote sustainable design principles and technologies into the projects he gets involved with.
